Experiencing twenty five years of evolving styles, tastes and textures of Marlborough’s famous varietal.
As a grape grower in beautiful Marlborough for twenty-five years I have been lucky enough to experience first-hand the evolving styles, tastes and textures of Marlborough’s famous Sauvignon Blanc. Releasing a wine that is something special has been a long-term dream and I am delighted with the result. I am pleased to have taken the time and advantage of the maturing wine industry to enjoy many different styles of wine before deciding on the delicate style of Rusty Bell.
Life is wonderful how it throws all sorts unexpected things your way, requiring you to pick up and run with them. I have been lucky enough to live in different countries, amass different work experience, and mix with different cultures, however, I suspect Rusty Bell may prove to be the most exciting chapter of all. It may have taken quarter of a century, but I believe it was worth the wait, I hope you do too.
